Welcome & projects materials
Welcome, welcome!
Please download this pdf file that contains lineart and all the references for the projects inside this course. Sorry, if this video looks a bit weird. I do want to welcome you but I'm a very shy person. :)
Art supplies list:
Art supplies online retailers are: Amazon, JerrysArtarama, Cheap Joe's Art Stuff, Dick Blick Art Materials in the USA. I find that Michael's and Hobby Lobby are too overpriced in general unless they run a big sale on a specific item.
1. Transfer paper: Loew-Cornell, Saral and many other brands.
They come in different colors and sizes! Consider your projects to buy the right kind. I recommend buying large sheets as opposed to small ones. The color depends on the surface you want to use it on. Black is too dark to use on white paper. I use yellow color drawing on toned paper, for example.

2. Tombow mono eraser - https://amzn.to/3FXS9gI
3. Kneaded eraser. If it dries up it doesn't work or erase. Sometimes I get old erasers sold to me. so beware. Kneaded eraser: https://amzn.to/3SrE56g
4 Colored Pencils:
To understand what colored pencils you like, you can buy them individually at any art supply store online. Test and then buy a box.
Prismacolor 36: https://amzn.to/3O6PQfJ You can buy 48 colors but it's not worth going above that number because they repeat themselves and the colors can be mixed to achieve the same result.
Caran d'Ache Pablo colored pencils. Individual ones on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3SrDOjK
Boxes & open stock: https://www.jerrysartarama.com/caran-dache-pablo-pencils
Faber-Castell Polychromos: https://www.jerrysartarama.com/faber-castell-polychromos-pencils
Luminance: https://www.jerrysartarama.com/caran-dache-luminance-6901-lightfast-pencils
Beware that expensive colored pencils like Luminance or Polychromos can be counterfeit if they sell at a much cheaper price at some unknown retailers.
5.Drawing paper:
Bristol Vellum is the best type of drawing paper to use if you draw on white surface.
KOH-I-NOOR white drawing paper, bristol vellum or colored pencil: https://amzn.to/3QSb95p
Colored paper:
I recommend using CANSON COLORLINE drawing papers. They come in two thicknesses that's reflected in price at Dick Blick Art Supplies Site. Thick paper is double in price.
I find that Dick Blick has the widest selection: https://www.dickblick.com/products/canson-colorline-art-papers/?fromSearch=%2Fsearch%2F%3Fsearchword%3Dcanson%20colorline%20paper
I usually use Clementine, Fuchsia, Lilac, and grey papers. The supply of this paper constantly changes but here is an example of Lilac paper sold on Amazon: https://amzn.to/48ZATnZ
Pink: https://amzn.to/48K5zKi
